Asoka Flower (Saraca asoca)

Asoka (Saraca asoca (Roxb.) Wilde, tribal legumes or Fabaceae), Angsoka, or sometimes confused with soft-shelled (Ixora javanica), is a tree with red flowers are very beautiful. Its name is taken from Sanskrit which means "free from a sense of sadness" (a-: no, shelled: sad). This plant was imported from India and in Surakarta and Yogyakarta usually planted in the courtyard of the palace and houses of nobility.
